Description
Installation and Commissioning Engineer
We are looking for an Installation and Commissioning Engineer to test our products before coordinating their installation on-site for various clients around the world. This opportunity is part of our new power business based from Oevel, Belgium and requires global travel.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Conduct site surveys in support of proposals, site selection and site requirements definition.
Plan, execute and supervise the commissioning to the final handover/acceptance of equipment.
Conduct site readiness surveys prior to dispatching equipment and personnel.
Conduct Inhouse testing of our manufactured equipment in our local test facility.
Resolve installation issues, procedures and methods by working with management, engineering, quality control and contractors.
Perform installation and commissioning of new systems within the schedule and budget.
Promote efficient flow of information and ensure complete and proper record keeping of commissioned equipment.
Manage sub contractors on location. Qualifications
To be successful you will need;
Degree in engineering (field or electro mechanics) or qualified by relevant experience.
Hands on, practical engineering experience –including the ability to interpret schematic diagrams and technical specification documents.
Demonstrate a tenacious personality and the ability to manage a high volume of customer needs at any one time.
Flexible to travel at short notice, and available to travel to sites in any global location (travel is 40- 50% of the role)
