Your responsibilities may include:
Set project budgets and timelines in agreement with sales and internal stakeholders.
Communicate regularly with customers to update progress and status of deliverables.
Communicate with management regarding progress on budgets and timelines.
Develop and execute project plans in a matrix environment for a highly complex technical program.
Support cross-functional teams toward common project goals; this requires the ability to understand program requirements at a deeply technical level and execute work on technical deliverables.
Work with engineering and operations to establish appropriate project and process tools.
Regularly interface with internal and external program stakeholders to update on program progress.
Drive to resolve issues; flag and develop action plans for issues which may cause program delays.
Make use of defined processes and tools to initiate, plan, execute, control, and close projects that involve either complex customer contracts or the development of new products
Manage, develop, and implement project(s) of varying complexity and size in assigned functional area.
Partner with business stakeholders to ensure a successful project completion
Lead multiple projects from inception to completion.
Monitor and communicate project status to project team.
Plan and monitor project budget conducts research and analysis; provide input into the design and development of project plans and timelines.
Manage project risk; use quality tools to identify areas of risk; work with others on the team and outside the team to identify alternatives or solutions.
Document and share team learning's with other teams; draw on other project team experiences to enhance the success of the project.
Maintain project notes, databases, and other records; monitor measures and communicates with Project Sponsor and other stakeholders on status of specific projects and assignments.
Identifie and assign appropriate resources to accomplish various project tasks; guide and coach team members through various stages of the project; provide developmental feedback to team members.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- Project Management Certification.
Minimum three to five years of experience in project engineering.
Prior experience in managing projects in a manufacturing environment highly preferred.
