Are you charged and ready for this new and exciting opportunity with Cummins? We are hiring a Systems Engineering Manager to join our pioneering Battery Systems team in Milton Keynes! You will be a Battery Systems leader who is passionate about providing critical responsibility and impactful leadership across UK projects.

This position is classed as hybrid however full support will be provided for those who wish to relocate closer to our technology site in Milton Keynes
You will make an impact in the following ways:
Responsible for Systems Engineering Leadership across the UK Battery Projects and develop, manage and track requirements and their validation through CAE and Testing across various allocated projects.
Partner with customers and internal stakeholders on interface requirements.
Create the system level iDFMEA for EV batteries, assist commodity engineers to create the sub system level iDFMEAs, manage all EV battery iDFMEA documents and work with the TPL to create and manage the project timing
Manage in-house test facilities and be key in supporting the transition for the Engineering Team from Milton Keynes to our new technology centre.
Execute clear understanding of Project delivery process through application of appropriate tools and through delivery experience.
Proficient and clear communication (Internally and Externally) and strong analysis and decision making skills.
To be successful in this role you will have the following;
Experienced in Leading a Battery Systems Engineering or Engineering Team
Experienced in developing detailed Requirements and Managing Validation
Qualified with an Engineering Degree or similar and proven experience in Electrification.
Experienced in the application of project management tools in new projects
Experienced in developing and Managing detailed requirements and ensuring these are robustly validated through FMEA, CAE and DVP.
Salary and Benefits;
£57,000 - £69,000
