JOB REQUISITON TITLE
We are looking for a talented HyLYZER-5000 Readiness Leader to join our team #NewPower Business Unit in Mississauga, Ontario.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Manages, develops, and implements project(s) of varying complexity and size in assigned functional area. Partners with business stakeholders to ensure a successful project completion.
Leads multiple projects from inception to completion; facilitates project planning sessions with internal stakeholders to determine the scope and objectives of each project; works with business stakeholders to establish project performance goals; designs project plan, develops timeline, identifies project milestones, and tracks performance against performance goals and timeline.
Identifies, tracks, and works with others to resolve project issues.
Monitors and communicates project status to project team.
Plans and monitors project budget, conducts research and analysis; provides input into the design and development of project plans and timelines.
Manages project risk; uses quality tools to identify areas of risk; works with others on the team and outside the team to identify alternatives or solutions.
Documents and shares team learning's with other teams; draws on other project team experiences to enhance the success of the project.
Maintains project notes, databases, and other records; monitors measures and communicates with Project Sponsor and other stakeholders on status of specific projects and assignments.
Identifies and assigns appropriate resources to accomplish various project tasks; guides and coaches team members through various stages of the project; provides developmental feedback to team members.

Education, Licenses, Certifications
College, university, or equivalent degree required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience
Intermediate level of relevant work experience, including team leadership experience, required.
We have a diverse team of engineers dedicated to the development of existing and future products for customers on a global scale. We are currently looking for a Readiness Leader to join the team.
The readiness leader will work as part of the Value Package Introduction (VPI) Core Team to facilitate and ensure robust alignment between the technical, operations, and supply chain functional leaders to deliver First of Its Kind (FOIK) unit safely, with excellent quality and on time while working within the VPI framework.
Support the Program Manager and Technical Project Leader (TPL) to ensure that Engineering release status is managed per VPI expectations.
Ensure that delays in engineering release work are made clearly visible and that risk mitigation is implemented to minimize impact on supplier and manufacturing readiness.
Ensure adherence to VPI technical functional milestones and align critical path schedule with operations, techincal and purchasing functions. Ensure Readiness Rules of Engagement are followed.
Work with the VPI Purchasing Team to ensure supplier selection work is on schedule, including supplier safety, quality and capacity assessments. Confirm that Supplier risk management process are robust and documented.
Align FOIK build schedule with the supply base for APQP, PPAP and material receipt dates at the Fridley manufacturing location, including special attention to long-lead component management.
Work with the VPI Operations Lead and Plant VPI Team to ensure production process readiness including assembly, test and cycle time/build rate are demonstrated.
Lead / manage the change control process during VPI. Facilitate transition from VPI to Value Package Change Request(VPCR.)
Integrate lesson learned driven design changes into any future build plans.
