We are looking for a talented Mechanical Designer to join our team for our Distribution Business in De Pere, WI.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Utilizes advanced skills, knowledge, and experiences for creating and maintaining specifications (drawings and models) of Cummins products per company, industry, national, and international standards, while positively impacting the organization's performance.

  • Create 3D CAD (Creo experience preferred) models and 2D drawings/schematics of parts, subassemblies and top level assemblies.

  • Manage CAD data in PLM system (Windchill experience preferred). Release engineering drawings/documents/BOM’s to balance of organization using engineering release process.

  • Gather information and perform validation calculations on engine subsystems (air intake, exhaust, cooling ,etc) to verify systems meet Cummins requirements.

  • Ensures model and drawing quality.

  • Creates and maintains product specifications utilizing Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing.Utilizes Computer Aided Design (CAD) data management tools for configuration control and to maintain security.

  • Creates assemblies to ensure fit to mating parts.

  • Works with engineering to generate concept models.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

  • A regionally applicable Certification (e.g. US Department of Labor) or two year Associates Degree from an accredited college program in a relevant field of study.

  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
