Technical Advisor - Engine Subsystem Expert


We are looking for a talented Technical advisor to join our team supporting projects in new and emerging technologies. This is a hybrid role, and we would expect you to be in the office in Darlington 25% of the time.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Lead multiple technical projects, at various stages of completion, from clean sheet to near clean sheet

  • Develop strategic plans and goals aligned to the business and it’s needs

  • Have oversight of all stages of product development, from design, through to validation and development

  • Utilize new and emerging technologies to provide new products and capabilities

  • Interact with stakeholders, both internal and external acting as a technical specialist

  • Use simulation and design software to develop and deliver a range of technical capabilities


To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Educated to degree level, in a STEM subject

  • Solid background in Engineering, with a detailed understanding of leading engineering teams

  • Project management skills and exposure

  • Solid understanding of MATLAB and CAD software

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary between £50,000 - £65,000 depending on experience

  • Defined contribution pension scheme (up to 9%)
