Machine Integration Simulation Technical Specialist

Description

We are looking for a talented Machine Integration Simulation Technical Specialist to join our team in Columbus, IN / your remote home office .

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Support architecture selection for EBU, PSBU, DBU and NPBU programs in terms of Co2, total cost of ownership etc

  • Support Fleet Planning Tool development and validation

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product Planning, Software Development and End Customer to deliver optimization solutions

  • Knowledge of on/off highway powertrain components and its working principles in terms of energy, performance is required.

  • Required Experience in 1-D simulation tools. Either CyberApp, AMESim, Autonomie, GT Suite, etc.

  • Proficiency in using Matlab scripts and Simulink is required

  • Experience with optimization programs is preferred

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines is required.

  • Minimum of 5 years in Senior or Lead Engineer work experience in a relevant discipline area is required with a demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making.

  • Proficient in MATLAB scripts and Simulink

  • Knowledge of MS Office tools is preferred
