We are seeking a talented Catalyst Performance Integration Technical Advisor to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Components business unit This role is based in Columbus, IN . It is 100% remote with a hybrid schedule post pandemic.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Leading complex catalyst and aftertreatment related issues, and providing technical solutions and guidance to the program teams, in a highly cross functional role involving working with multiple teams from various functions

  • Leading large or multiple engineering projects, performing as the local technical expert for catalyst components and overall aftertreatment integration of catalyst components.

  • Solving complex problems impacting multiple projects, also communicating with and influencing key external stakeholders and business leaders.

  • Making critical project and product related decisions, and collaborating with catalyst suppliers to development next generation catalysts

  • Setting strategic direction for a program or technical discipline, advising and transferring knowledge of engineering discipline, coaches and mentors less experienced engineers.

  • Advises leaders regarding the identification and resolution of complex problems.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Masters or Bachelors of Science, or equivalent degree in engineering required, along with 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience

  • Engine and Aftertreatment tuning and performance experience, and the ability to handle complex technical issues and drive problem resolution.

  • System Level thinking – and ability to relate component performance to system level impacts, ability to provide technical direction and leadership to a project team.

  • The ability to optimize existing processes and methods to improve engineering efficiency

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
