(CTCC) Facilities Test Ops Specialized Technician - L3 Charleston, SC
We are looking for a talented Facilities Technician to join our team in Charleston SC with a starting pay of $30.00 to $35.00 an/hour.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Excellent at multi-tasking a wide range of customer requests with constantly changing priority rankings. Able to stay levelheaded and make sound judgement calls during stressful situations.
Works proactively to maintain and repair equipment across multiple areas of the facility relating to Laboratory activities. Maintains process capability and reliability to achieve optimum availability of machinery, equipment, related plant and services.
Works in a multi-craft environment while supporting Technicians in other occupations.
Ensures maintenance functions are performed to service, repair and install heating, refrigeration, air conditioning, building ventilation systems, air compressors, heat exchangers and other related equipment including related HVAC/mechanical troubleshooting.
Leads construction projects; initiates, consults and works with electrical, structural, mechanical contract engineers to develop construction projects. Initiates projects based on the needs of the facility, including space allocations, infrastructural needs, etc.
Manages facility projects including layouts, designs, appropriation of funding, contractors, pricing, etc.; makes decisions on
changes for operations maintenance projects.
Ensures maintenance of safe and effective facilities and building systems.
Coordinates programs including planning, scheduling, ordering and tracking.
Develops and conducts training programs; provides counseling, mentoring and coaching.
Demonstrates adaptability and responsiveness to changing work needs and willingness to undertake new tasks as they become evident; initiates, develops,
leads and participates in improvement projects.
Manages own work and adjusts work priorities in order to meet the demands.
Participates in self- and team-audits and associated corrective action; plans and engages in continuous learning in order to be prepared for changing work demands.
Performs other duties as required.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
