In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Applying technical information and knowledge based activities, fulfilling work requests to standardised policies and procedures and documenting results.
Applying and supporting information processes such as Engineering Standard Work (ESW), Value Package Introduction (VPI), product change management and data repositories such as technical information libraries, all required to meet the needs of practitioners within the technical function.
Obtaining input and negotiating with a broad variety of technical practitioners to deliver results that directly or indirectly enable high quality processes, tools, drawings or specifications.
Applying academic knowledge and existing experience to take action and make decisions that progress projects forward without sacrificing project quality expectations.
Owning problem resolution for moderately complex components, products, systems, subsystems or services with a relatively low degree of technical complexity and ambiguity.
Providing independent execution of established work processes and systems, while still developing technology or product knowledge; engages with the improvement of systems and processes.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need experience in the following:
Experience with Windchill (or similar PLM such as Teamcenter)
Experience with CREO
Modelling experience
Management of Top Level Assemblies (TLA) to ensure that they meet CMI CAD Practices and procedure standards and align with all drafting and Windchill specifications.
Maintain the TLA Bill of Materials (BoM) with regular reviews with Commodity Engineers and other departments, such as Purchasing and SQI to ensure accurate communications across the business.
Manage the Change Process for a project to include:
Change grouping: Review each change request looking for opportunities to group approved Change Requests (CR's) together.
Workload Monitoring: Validate the wok scope, monitor resource commitments, and coordinate with all functions needed to process the CN in support of the agreed upon delivery date.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
College, university, or equivalent bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or other relevant technical disciplines is required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
